When Indiana University Health (IU Health) set out to modernize their executive boardroom at Fairbanks Hall, they turned to American Sound for a solution that could match the importance of their mission. As the state’s largest physician network, IU Health needed a space that reflected the organization’s forward-thinking approach to healthcare — a place where executive teams could collaborate seamlessly both in person and remotely.

The Challenge

IU Health’s existing boardroom had become outdated. With reflective wood and glass surfaces and an aging AV system, the room no longer supported the high-level hybrid meetings required by leadership. Executives needed:

• A system that worked seamlessly for both in-room and remote participants.

• Intelligent video and audio that would make long meetings comfortable and engaging.

• A solution that could set a new standard for collaboration in healthcare.

The Solution

American Sound designed and delivered a state-of-the-art AV system built for high-performance collaboration. Leveraging Crestron’s intelligent video and conferencing technology, we created a space that feels effortless to use yet powerful in capability.

• 12 tabletop microphones for crystal-clear audio across the room.

• A large-format LED wall to replace the outdated projection system, reducing eye strain and creating an engaging visual experience.

• Full Microsoft Teams® Rooms certification through Crestron Flex integration, making hybrid meetings more natural and productive.
